====== Sony MDS-S707 ======

According to the service manual, the MDS-S707 is very similar to the [[equipment:sony:deck:mds-s38| MDS-S38]].  It is also a compact deck like the S38. Most likely the MDS-S707 was mostly sold with a system or as an optional addon to a system while being able to run independently. 

One of the system(s) that were designed to use the MDS-S707 was the DHC-MD500. See the bottom of this page for more info and pictures of the unit.

Sony DHC-MD500 is the US / Canadian model. DHC-RX707 is the UK / AEP Model. 
HCD-MD500 is stamped on the main body.
