Main features of "MXD-D5C"
  * Record from CD to MD at 4x speed

  * Equipped with 5 CD changer - You can select songs from 5 CDs and record a variety of programs. It is also possible to use MDLP recording more effectively (in this case, high-speed recording is up to 2x speed).


1. Equipped with long-time MD stereo recording / playback (MDLP) function
By adopting "ATRAC3", which has about twice the compression efficiency of the conventional MD audio compression method "ATRAC", as the audio data compression codec, the MD with a recording time of 80 minutes can be used for up to 160 minutes in LP2 mode, LP4. Stereo recording / playback with high sound quality of up to 320 minutes is possible in mode. You can also use your existing MD media for long-term recording.
* MD tracks recorded in MDLP mode cannot be played on players that do not have MDLP mode installed.

2. SF (scale factor) edit function that can adjust the audio level of the recorded MD later.
The audio level recorded on a recorded MD (magneto-optical disk) other than commercially available music software can be adjusted later. You can also edit fade-outs that allow you to create a natural ending for a song that was cut off in the middle, and fade-in editing that allows you to process the beginning of an impressive song.
* This function cannot be used for MD tracks recorded in MDLP mode.

3. Equipped with "TYPE-R" DSP for ATRAC with high sound quality
Equipped with "TYPE-R" DSP for ATRAC that reanalyzes music data and redistributes the amount of bits using the original "intelligent bit relocation algorithm", achieving high sound quality closer to the recording source. * 3 .

4. Equipped with a full-dot display for displaying kanji and hiragana titles (only for "MXD-D5C" and "MDS-JB940")
The title of Kanji / Hiragana entered with the separately sold PC connection kit "PCLK-MN10" or Kanji / Hiragana compatible devices can be displayed on the MD deck. Furthermore, since the "MDS-JB940" is equipped with a Chinese character dictionary on the main unit, it is possible to convert Chinese characters on the main unit.
