Control

The DN-990R/DN-980F are professional players for broadcast stations which use Mini-Disk (MD) as the recording medium. The DN-990R/980F inherits the same basic operation of DENON's DN-951FA CD Cart Player, which has become the accepted standard CD player at broadcast stations throughout the world. Up to three units can be mounted side by side in a 19“ equipment rack.

The DN-990R/980F's one-touch loading/ejection of the MD disk is one of the ease-to-use features inherited from DENON's CD Cart player.

Rather than detecting the beginning of a track, the DN-990R/980F automatically cues at the point where the sound begins.

An RS-232C (Serial Remote) interface connector is provided to enable control of the DN-990R and DN-980F from a personal computer.

DN-990R FUNCTIONS:

Select/Unselect Track

  1. One track number can be stored onto the MD, that will be cued up automatically when loaded.
  2. Up to 30 track numbers can be stored onto the MD that will not be played back.
