Notes for Modern Day Buyers:
- A proprietary usb cable (Part# 1-824-647-21) is required to charge/use netMD, with or without the dock.
- If the dock is unavailable, the sidecar also supports charging via a 6v Positive Tip DC input.
- The internal battery is also most likely dead, requiring a replacement.
- Replacement batteries are available including newer models that don't require soldering like previous solutions.
