I have an eclectic taste so this disc included some of my favorite music from a favorite of genres and the like. Below the tracklist is the full text of the 'liner notes' I sent along with the disc.

   1. This is from the “Rock Candy” remix collection of EarthBound music. EarthBound is my favorite video game and the music from it is epic. But I didn’t want to make this all an EarthBound mix. 2. Neraiuchi – Linda Yamamoto
   1. I learned about this song from “Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!” – another game with tons of great music (though it is a music game…) It’s J-Pop but from like the 70s and it slaps, to be honest. Definitely a good listen.
3. Legal Tender – B-52’s
   1. The B-52’s are such a high-energy group and this track is actually tough to find on modern releases for some reason. It’s one of my favorites.
4. High Hopes – Panic! At the Disco
   1. I wanted some modern music on here too. I like the energy of this track. It also kind of turned into an ATRAC torture test based on my listening, so… sorry :|
5. Pollyanna Jazz/Funk Cover – insaneintherainmusic
   1. Also from EarthBound, though not on Rock Candy, this is a new recording. EarthBound (and the whole MOTHER series) actually had official vocal versions of game soundtrack songs recorded. This is a remix of one of those; Pollyanna plays in the second town in the game.
6. Monochrome Effect – Perfume
   1. It’s Japanese funk. Everyone in the future loves it. (This is an American Dad reference.)
7. Finesse (remix) – Bruno Mars
   1. I normally hate remixed versions of songs but I think Cardi B actually adds a lot to this one.
8. Juice – Lizzo
   1. Lizzo is my spirit animal and this is one of my favorite tracks from her.
9. GUY.exe – SUPERFRUIT
   1. This is not the troll track; I actually legitimately love this song, even though it’s now famous for being the source of the “6 feet tall and super strong” TikTok.
10. Blinding Lights – The Weeknd
    1. When I first heard this song, I was convinced it was sampled from “Take on Me” by A-Ha. Turns out, it’s actually sampled from “Chase” by Giorgio Moroder, which is like 15 minutes long, but check it out too. 11. Sprite – Freezepop
    1. Freezepop is one of the most underrated groups out there, and I think they’ve split up, but this is a rare track that was never put on an album.
12. Cranley’s Gonna Make It – Broken Social Scene
    1. This was the Sprint hold music for a very long time and I spent a lot of time listening to it when I was younger. I came to love the song, and I bet you will too.
13. Baby Shark – Pinkfong
    1. Do do da doo doo doo, babyyyy shark do do da doo doo doo, Baby shark.
14. Fancy Like – Walker Hayes
    1. This was another good song that I liked before it became a TikTok meme. Even if you don’t like country, give it a shot.
15. Ame no Melody – KinKi Kids
    1. I learned about this song from the actual minidisc that you’re holding (obviously you aren't holding the actual disc, Wiki reader. But fudd is.) – which had a “best of” mix of KinKi Kids music on it before I erased it. It really grew on me as I listened to it longer.
16. Cruel Summer – Bananarama
    1. I just love this track. Also, it was pushing 80F as I recorded this disc, so the last remnants of summer were there. But this is a high-energy disc so I hope you feel the summer energy there.
17. Levitating – Dua Lipa
    1. More high energy, I figured it would be a good time here to end on a high note before the mellow bits at the end.
18. Me Too – Meghan Trainor
    1. This hits the peak of energy, bouncy, music on this disc. Dance all night.
19. hot girl bummer – blackbear
    1. Note: explicit lyrics. But something about this song really hits different.
20. Majestic – Wax Fang
    1. I heard about this song from “American Dad!” where it’s used in a great episode. I now love this track and listen to it a lot.
21. In the Air Tonight – Phil Collins
    1. I mean, we have to have this here for the drum riff. Right? Right.
22. Always With Me, Always With You – Joe Satriani
    1. I’m hopeful you enjoy this mix and keep it with you always. Or at least until you give up minidiscs.
23. Itsumo nando demo (ending from Spirited Away) – AUN J-CLASSIC ORCHESTRA
    1. Spirited Away has an absolutely incredible soundtrack and this performance of the ending song is one of the most memorable I think I’ve ever heard.
