A portable MD recorder equipped with an insert mechanism and long-term continuous recording / playback. See also: Sharp MD-MS200, Kenwood DMC-G7R, Pioneer PMD-R2

A lithium-ion rechargeable battery enables continuous recording for about 7 hours and continuous playback for about 9.5 hours. Also, by using the separately sold dry battery case (Alkaline AA 3×6), continuous recording for about 25 hours and continuous playback for about 35 hours are possible. The remaining battery level can be displayed in 4 levels with the battery level indicator.

The microphone synchronization function is carried and recording starts automatically in response to a sound and a voice. Also, when silence is detected for 3 seconds or longer, it is paused and the disc can be used without waste.

Equipped with a double-speed fast-listening playback function, you can listen at twice the normal speed.

The monaural double long-time recording function is carried, and a 74-minute disc can record up to 148 minutes by switching a recording mode to monaural.

The time auto mark function is carried and a cue point can be recorded automatically at a fixed interval (three steps switching of 3 minutes / 5 minutes / 10 minutes). You can easily find the points when you listen again later.

The recording date and time automatic recording function is carried and the recording date and time is automatically recorded.

It supports katakana character input, and you can enter katakana characters in addition to uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols of alphabets such as album names, song names, and artist names.

The insert mechanism is adopted, and a compact body can be realized and a disc change can be easily performed. Also, since it has an auto play function, playback starts just by inserting a disc.

The CD synchro recording function is carried, and the sound-recording from a CD can be synchro recording by an analog connection in addition to a digital connection. Also, if there is no sound for 3 seconds or more, it will automatically pause.

The sampling rate converter is carried and it corresponds to the sampling frequency of 32kHz and 48kHz including 44.1kHz.

Equipped with a character stamp function, it is possible to stamp the entire character information of the master MD after recording the sound when editing from MD to MD.

A remote control that allows the headphones to be attached and detached is included.

The bus boost function is carried.
