The “XM-1MD” is equipped with a high-performance MD recorder, 3CD changer, full-logic auto-reverse cassette deck, AM / FM tuner, and high-power amplifier in one body, and is equipped with a full-scale 3-way speaker.

“TWIN REC” function that allows simultaneous recording from CD to MD and cassette tape with one touch, “One-touch edit” function that allows one-touch recording of all songs or only certain songs on CD, and continuous recording of only the first song of each CD It is equipped with a variety of editing functions similar to those of the flagship model 7 series, such as the “best hits” function (other CDs can be exchanged even during recording).

Equipped with a sampling rate converter and an optical digital input terminal. Digital recording to MD is possible even from digital sources with different sampling frequencies such as BS / CS broadcasting and DAT.
