Kenwood proclaims that this is the worlds first WMA and MP3 compatible MD, radio, and cassette player.

The MDX-J5WM is similar to the MDX-J3, however this supports WMA and MP3 files on CD-R/RW. This also supports folder groups, whereas the aforementioned model does not.

  • Has a built-in vibration sensor that stops the snooze alarm by tapping the unit lightly.
  • Plays a melody at the end of a recording.
  • CD to MD 2x recording.
  • Support MDLP playback.
  • Equipped with One Touch Edit.
  • Equipped with a child lock.

4W + 4W speakers.

The manual states 76-90MHz FM on page 93 but on 17 it shows the 3 channel TV tuner can receive 101.75 and 107.75MHz.
