Pioneer MD-P100, which is a separate unit from the MD-P100 II.

  • 1-bit D/A Converter
  • Random / Scan / Repeat
  • Sure Track System (10 second shock protection)
  • IP Bus input/ouput
  • SLDC (SeamLess Disc Change)
  • Direct Disc Slot-in

Pioneer offered a remote faceplate control / FM converter kit for CD/MD changers, the CD-P75FM. MSRP 20,790 yen.

Looks to be a clone of the Sony MDX-6X lineup, most likely shares much of the electronics with them (minus the Pioneer IP bus interface)

The release date appears to have been sometime in 1998 for the EU at least. Leaving the question open: since the MD-P100II was definitely released in 06-1997, when was the MD-P100 actually released?
