Equipped with cool LED light that shines 3 different colors (yellow, green, orange) for indication of recording / playback / standby. Redesigned LCD remote with the world's first two color/line LCD MiniDisc remote display. New group function with various grouping features (delete, move, change, booking, arrange). Connectable to transfer sound and text data directly from computer through USB port. Introduction reproduction to play 5 seconds of each song - good for song searching in MDLP modes and Character stamp function to copy text information between MD to MD. Using “digital recording level control” unit adjust recording level of digital sources into the same level when recording finishes.

USB connection possible “PC link function”

  • If you use the separately sold “MD-PC Connection Kit (AD-PCR3)”, even a PC that does not have an optical digital output terminal can play music CDs set in the CD-ROM drive or music files such as WAV and MP3 in the PC. You can digitally record to MD via USB.
  • With the PC link, you can easily input characters and edit the MD on your PC.
  • It also supports “library management” and “label printing”.
  • In “Library Management”, you can register your own MDs and manage them on your computer, or copy character information to other MDs. (It is also possible to batch copy the character information in the disc)
  • In “label printing”, 12 types of background patterns are prepared in advance, and it is also possible to use image data (JPEG/BMP compatible) taken by the user with a digital camera or the like as a label. You can also print a list of the song titles on the disc, further expanding the way you can enjoy MD.
