Features: World's smallest and thinnest player as of 1 Feb 2000. Features charging stand, charging LED (flashes while charging, extinguishes when done). It is approximately 12% smaller in volume and approximately 10% thinner than the previous model (MD-ST531)
Approximately 56 hours of long-term playback using a combination of rechargeable batteries and AA batteries
- By reducing the power consumption of pickups, LSIs, and mechanisms, and by adopting a small nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery, it is possible to use both a rechargeable battery and a single AA alkaline battery. I realized continuous reproduction for a long time of about 56 hours in combination.
