Sony LAM-Z1/LAM-1

The only difference between the LAM-Z1 and the LAM-1 is that the Z1 comes bundled with speakers while the 1 does not.

Sony's first netMD bookshelf system. It was launched alongside the MZ-N1, CMT-C7NT, and MDS-NT1 as the first generation of netMD devices.

Can write discs through netMD using Sony's SonicStage or OpenMG software. Device playback can also be controlled using these programs. Can also record to MD from CD at 4x speed.

Likely to be supported by the latest versions of web minidisc and platinum minidisc, but the later revisions of the LAM line such as the LAM-Z05 do not work so I wouldn't plan purchasing this if that is a dealbreaker.
