The body color is based on white, and the illumination is available in three colors: blue (XM-ZX3-A) / pink (XM-ZX3-P) / orange (XM-ZX3-D). The company says that it will mainly propose female users who are particular about practicality and design.

Due to its unique power-saving design, continuous playback for about 225 hours is possible when the attached nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery and AA alkaline battery are used together (when POWER SAVE mode is ON / LP4 mode). The company is the longest portable MD player in the world. Using the attached rechargeable battery, the battery life during standard mode playback is approximately 48 hours. Charging time is about 3.5 hours.

It supports MDLP and also has an MD group function. In addition to improving the sound quality by adopting a 24-bit DSP, it is equipped with the newly developed “Digital ACBASS II” that performs optimum low-frequency correction according to the volume. In addition, it has a sleep function, an alarm function, and a “sound adjustment function” that can adjust bass / treble in four stages.
