I bought this unit second-hand and it works fine except that it will sometimes stop randomly whenn playing a disc, or refuse to play some discs altogether.

Can anyone help please?

I have 2 of that units (MKI) and has same problem. One even stop recording. I think they need a replace of the play-record system. The problem is to find them.
