Kenwood's equivalent of the MDS-NT1.

MD playback can be performed by connecting to a speaker with a built-in amplifier without connecting to a personal computer. Does not come with speakers.

Originally was packaged with Mulia, NetMD software that similar to SonicStage.

The recording method is compatible with ATRAC and ATRAC3, and the transfer speed of music data is up to 32x in LP4 stereo mode (ATRAC3 / 66kbps) and up to 16x in LP2 stereo mode (ATRAC3 / 132kbps). It is a calculation that can transfer music data with a playback time of 5 minutes in about 10 to 20 seconds (actually, it takes several seconds to record data on MD).

The company's “Mulia” is attached to the music management software that creates music data from music CDs and checks in / out. “Mulia” has a technically interesting aspect that it is also equipped with the original technology “Supreme 2” that restores a realistic sound by guessing and interpolating the high range lost during MP3 compression.
