This page lists recording capacities for discs recorded in various HiMD modes. This information is sourced from the manual to the MZ-RH1, but should be similar for all Hi-MD recorders

Except for Linear PCM, these times are largely rounded to the closest ten minutes. Exact total available run-time could vary slightly between computer transfers and optical dubs. All HiMD machines support LPCM and all ATRAC3 modes but not all machines support MP3. Other MP3 bit-rates exist but Sony only showed this one rate.
