Sony Walkman LCD Remote Protocol
This page is still a work-in-progress
Introduction
The remote plug appears thus:
Pin | Function |
---|---|
1 | GND |
2 | Button |
3 | LCD |
4 | VCC |
The LCD wire lets the Walkman control the remote's LCD, and the Button wire lets the remote control the Walkman.
The protocol is described in patent US6203344.
