Benjanyan's disk for MarbleHead-Johnson
This was a mix of stuff that I'm currently enjoying. There wasn't really a specific theme but I did try and keep similar genres together. The cover is a nod to the last track, Blue Screen by Psychostick. A band with some very funny songs, do check 'em out!

Recording
The disk was recorded on an MZ-N707 with Web MiniDisc pro. The N707 was one of two dead units bought of eBay earlier this year. A battery had been left in it which then leaked causing corrosion all over the battery terminals and the mainboard. Against my expectations, a good clean and another eject microswitch from my graveyard brought the unit back to life. Although corrosion has eaten the traces for the gumstick battery power, it's happy enough from a sidecar.
Label
The label takes up the entire side of the disc kind of like a pre-recorded/pressed MD. To achieve this, the front of the sliding cover is trimmed off with some card stuck in the slider indent (also covering the hole). The label is then applied over this. This does mean that the disc can no longer be recorded to but looks cool! The label does carry a small risk as it makes slightly thicker and there's the chance it comes unstuck at some point. It was tested in 15 of my portables without issue and also my MXD-D4 (slot loader).
Extra unofficial disc
At one point, it looked as if my friend, MinkiNTN, had missed the opportunity to take part so I offered to do an extra swap. The deadline was thankfully extended so he could take part but we agreed to still go ahead with the extra swap. This disc mostly had Hololive (virtual YouTuber group) remixes from Soundcloud and was pretty terrible uhh.. it also got the label treatment. I received the uwu edition from him in return. Thanks, my dude! Loved the music and 3d printed CD jewel case insert.
